Rounding out our Halloween-themed selections this week, for today’s Weirdo Wednesday, we’re ending things on a fittingly campy note courtesy of this amusing clip of Alice Cooper hosting a special Halloween edition of The Muppets back in 1978. And really, is there any rock star more emblematic of the season than “The Godfather of Shock Rock” himself? Granted, these days Alice Cooper is about as “shocking” as your pal’s tired Michael Myers costume, but the classically kitschy theatrics of this performance of “Welcome to My Nightmare” are simply too good to pass up.
