This week, we’ll be shining the spotlight on one of the most prolific, talented, and versatile bands to have sprung up over the past decade, Australia’s very own. Since their founding in 2010, they have produced an astounding twenty-seven studio albums (and counting), including five in 2017 and 2022. Perhaps even more impressive is the remarkable range of styles the band has dabbled in over the years, and how brilliant and seemingly effortless their execution is across a wide range of genres. You name it, chances are they’ve done it (electronica, jazz fusion, prog-rock, psych, even some brief forays into hip-hop). The list goes on and on, but being that it’s Manic Monday, today we’re showing off their most excellent foray into the world of metal with this batshit video of “Organ Farmer” off their outstanding metal album Infest the Rats Nest (released in 2019).
