Tuesday’s Gone – 2/17
Continuing our tribute to Peter Gabriel this week, for today’s Tuesday’s Gone, we’re throwing it all the way back to his original band Genesis by way of this characteristically mesmerizing performance of “Watcher of the Skies” from 1974. Here we find Gabriel decked out in full costume with fluorescent makeup and delivering a truly otherworldly and mind-blowing performance of the prog-rock classic in distinctly captivating fashion. Suffice to say this would be a terrific candidate for a Weirdo Wednesday offering, but stay tuned on that front tomorrow as we may have a debatably even more bizarre selection on tap (which is really saying something).
